Certification Process
Five steps for a production group to achieve PGS Vietnam certification.
- 01
Group Formation & Commitment
Farmers form organic production groups and sign a commitment to comply with PGS Vietnam standards and group regulations.
- 02
Training & Documentation
Members receive training on organic farming techniques, maintain production logs, and complete certification application files.
- 03
Cross-Inspection
Groups inspect each other along with representatives from consumers and businesses — comparing field reality with recorded logs.
- 04
Review & Certification
The PGS Vietnam Coordination Board synthesizes inspection results, reviews, and issues certificates to groups that meet the standards.
- 05
Monitoring & Maintenance
Products are labeled as PGS Organic. Groups are monitored periodically and re-evaluated annually to maintain certification.
Production groups can search for and manage certifications on the PGS Vietnam online system.
