Currently, organic agriculture in Vietnam is receiving great attention from the Party and the State, becoming a trend in domestic agricultural production and integrating with the world. On the occasion of the “8th Organic Asia Congress” held in Ninh Binh in September 2025, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Phung Duc Tien sent a letter of congratulations.

Vietnam Organic Agriculture Electronic Magazine respectfully publishes the full text of the letter: On the occasion of the "8th Organic Asia Congress" organized by the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association and the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee. On behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, along with my personal sentiments, I would like to extend my respectful greetings and best wishes to the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association and all enterprises, individuals, collectives, and members of the Association nationwide. Throughout more than 14 years of establishment and development, the Association has become a bridge connecting international organic organizations with the development of Vietnam's organic agriculture. Vietnam's organic agriculture has absorbed many scientific and technological advances as well as valuable experiences from countries in the region, Asia, and the world, thereby making Vietnam a country whose organic agricultural production level is on par with advanced nations globally.
The Organic Asia Congress (OAC) is an annual organic conference held on a rotating basis among countries developing organic agriculture in Asia. In 2025, the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association will host the 8th Organic Asia Congress in Vietnam.
This is a great opportunity to promote Vietnamese organic products and international integration in a new era of prosperous and happy development; it is also an occasion to share knowledge and bring together organic enthusiasts in Asia in general and Vietnam in particular. Wishing the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association and the People's Committee of Ninh Binh Province great success in organizing the 8th Asian Organic Congress in 2025, marking breakthroughs in development and inspiring the organic movement nationwide.
