PGS Vietnam
The Participatory Guarantee System (PGS Vietnam) was established in 2008 under the project "Developing an Organic Agriculture Production Framework and Market in Northern Vietnam 2005-2012", implemented by ADDA and the Vietnam Farmers' Union (VNFU).
As an independent and autonomous network operated through stakeholder participation, self-financing all activities, and currently sponsored by the Center for Organic Development and Agricultural Support (CODAS) under the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association (VOAA). PGS Vietnam has been a member of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) since 2009.
For over 15 years, PGS Vietnam, with the joint efforts of the community, businesses, consumers, and the support of local authorities, has been operating the PGS system, adhering to the core value of taking transparency as our guiding principle to ensure organic quality, raise farmers' awareness and responsibility, and help farmers bring organic products to the market.

Organic agriculture is based on living ecological systems and natural cycles, tailored to local conditions, sustaining biodiversity.
Fairness
Building equitable relationships among all parties: farmers, workers, distributors, traders, and consumers, while respecting our shared environment.
Caution
Management should be conducted in a precautionary and responsible manner to protect the environment, health, and well-being of present and future generations.
