The training session was attended by Mr. Phan Huu Son - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Bai Ward; Ms. Dang Thi Minh Huong - Deputy Head of the Ward Department of Culture and Social Affairs; along with the speaker MSc. Dr. Le Viet Than - Deputy Head of the Food Safety Division, Hue City Department of Health. The presence of local leaders and health experts demonstrated deep care for ensuring food safety in schools.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Dang Thi Thu Ly, Principal of Binh Minh Kindergarten, stressed that food hygiene and safety in preschool education institutions is not only a mandatory legal requirement but also a moral responsibility of every staff member, teacher, and employee. According to Ms. Ly, preschool children have limited immune resistance and are vulnerable to food safety hazards. Therefore, the school regards this as a key task, requiring the entire team to uphold a high sense of responsibility and strictly implement procedures and regulations to maximally prevent any unfortunate incidents.

At the training session, the speaker provided a wealth of important information, updating the food poisoning situation nationwide as well as in Hue City recently. At the same time, the system of legal normative documents related to food safety in schools was clearly disseminated, helping school staff master the legal basis for implementation.

One of the key topics presented was the three-step food safety inspection process and food sample storage—a crucial stage in controlling the quality of boarding school meals. In addition, common violations in food safety and corresponding penalties were analyzed in detail, contributing to raising individual awareness of legal compliance.

A key highlight of the training session was the combination of theory and practice. Through hypothetical scenarios, officers, teachers, and staff received hands-on guidance on identifying early signs of food poisoning, administering initial first aid, following official reporting procedures, and properly preserving food samples for investigation. As a result, 100% of participants were fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond promptly whenever an incident occurs.

Through this activity, Binh Minh Kindergarten (Phu Bai Ward, Hue City) continues to reaffirm its commitment to improving the quality of child care and nutrition. At the same time, the training session contributed to enhancing the professional capacity and sense of responsibility of staff, teachers, and employees in preventing and controlling food safety risks, moving toward building a safe, healthy, and sustainable educational environment.
