In 2011, from the early days of entering the food sector, Tam Dat oriented towards and focused on organic products, with the flagship product at that time being PGS organic vegetables.

Standing alongside farmers from the very beginning
Cooperation with farmers and investment in production areas
We have accompanied and stood side by side with farmers since the early days of PGS. Back then, the concept of organic was still very new, yet organic farming completely transformed farmers' cultivation practices: abandoning chemical fertilizers to switch to organic composting, replacing herbicides and pesticides with biological preparations (ginger, garlic, alcohol, chili, etc.), catching pests by hand, and waiting up to 25 days to harvest a batch of water spinach.
After working alongside organic farmers and witnessing so many of their stories, a bold decision was made in 2013: to establish the Suganami Organic Agriculture Center. Tam Dat invested its own funds and hired farmers to cultivate 5 ha in Tan Lac, Hoa Binh. Every day, we worked from early morning until well after dark. To bring the vegetables back in time for morning sales, we had to travel more than 100km along mountain roads from Tan Lac to Hanoi, setting out at 3 a.m.
Persistently building customer trust
Back then, customers did not understand organic yet, so we had to give vegetables to each customer for free so they could try them, experience them, and compare the quality with conventional produce bought on the open market. As a result, we had to sell a house, and all the savings from our other business ventures were poured into organic.
In 2014, we invested in our first store to sell organic vegetables directly to consumers, winning customer trust and the dedication and commitment of our staff. As customer demand grew—meat, fish, fruit, seafood…—we continued to explore, build, and develop new products, from Tien Yen native chickens to the Oc Que pig farming model in Ba Vi.
Pondering the Value of Trust
As ecological and organic food becomes more widely known and the trend of consuming organic products grows, self-proclaimed, counterfeit, and imitation products have also emerged, using media and marketing to spread misleading, hard-to-verify information in order to manipulate consumer behavior.
For Tam Dat, sincerity and purity remain the guiding principles: delivering eco-friendly, safe, quality organic products to customers along with the best service.
