On March 7, 2023, at the Thanh Xuan Commune People's Committee, a networking meeting brought together stakeholders involved in the local organic Participatory Guarantee System (Thanh Xuan Intergroup – PGS Vietnam). After 15 years of organic farming on fragmented production scales, the workforce, predominantly composed of women, is growing older.
Through 15 years of ups and downs overcoming hardships together, it has been proven that farmers can achieve the seemingly impossible if we stand by them to inspire, encourage, and provide timely support. The faces of veteran farmers beamed with renewed determination as they recalled the proud early days of Thanh Xuan’s organic farming movement. Today, they are revitalized by the energy of young cadres from the Farmers' Union and the enthusiastic support of the local government.
