As consumers pay increasing attention to food quality and origin, the organic market faces significant growth opportunities. Organic Foods Festival 2026 not only introduces certified organic products but also creates a space for connection among businesses, producers, and consumers, helping to spread the values of organic agriculture.

Shifts in consumer habits in recent years are creating further room for growth in the organic food market. While price was once the primary concern, more and more consumers now pay attention to production processes, raw material origins, and quality certifications. This is also why many businesses are choosing to invest more systematically in production, distribution, and building customer trust.
Against this backdrop, Organic Foods Festival 2026 is taking place from July 20 to August 10 across the Farmers Market and Organicfood.vn retail systems, with an opening ceremony held on the morning of July 25 at the Farmers Market store (104 Hai Ba Trung, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The program is media-sponsored by the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association (VOAA) and Naturland (German Association for Organic Agriculture), alongside the partnership of numerous enterprises in the organic food sector.

Going beyond product promotion, the festival also aims to connect key actors across the value chain—from producers and distributors to certification bodies—thereby fostering green consumption trends and raising community awareness of organic agriculture.
Building Trust Through Quality and Transparency
Shifting Consumer Awareness and Trust
Speaking at the opening ceremony of Organic Foods Festival 2026, Mr. Vo Thanh Loc, Commercial Director & Co-founder of Farmers Market, noted that after nearly a decade of development, the retail chain has witnessed a distinct shift in consumer demand. While shoppers used to focus primarily on price, they now increasingly prioritize healthy products with clear origins and transparent production processes.
Mr. Loc observed that organic production remains a challenging sector due to stringent technical requirements, long transition periods, and high initial investment costs. Nonetheless, as more businesses enter the field, supply is steadily expanding, offering consumers greater access to organic food at more reasonable prices. Throughout this journey, certification and traceability continue to serve as the bedrock for establishing market trust.

Trust is also what businesses pursue when developing organic products. In an environment where consumers have abundant choices, meeting international standards represents not only a mark of quality but also a commitment to transparency across the entire production chain.
From a distributor's perspective, Ms. Ngo Bich Quyen, Director of Organicfood.vn, explained that consumers increasingly value standards verified by independent organizations rather than merely relying on corporate claims. Therefore, Organicfood.vn has opted to pursue USDA organic certification to guarantee transparency from soil and water conditions to seeds and the entire farming process.

Partnering to Enhance the Value of Organic Produce
Behind every organic product lies a rigorously controlled production process. This is why quality is consistently regarded as the decisive factor for products to establish a solid foothold in the market.
Mr. Nguyen Vu Minh Quan, Director of Sunny Harvest Co., Ltd., emphasized that to introduce agricultural produce into modern retail systems, businesses must meet multiple stringent standards regarding quality and food safety simultaneously. From input supplies to testing parameters, everything is rigorously monitored to ensure that products reaching consumers fully satisfy promised criteria.

According to Dr. Do Viet Ha, Vice President of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association, advancing organic agriculture cannot be the effort of a single business or organization alone; it requires concerted participation from farmers, enterprises, associations, and regulatory authorities. Accompanying Organic Foods Festival 2026, VOAA will mobilize over 2,000 members to join the festival's activities while further strengthening linkages with stakeholders to promote organic production, enhance agricultural produce value, and strive toward circular, low-emission agriculture.

International Cooperation Accompanying Vietnam's Organic Agriculture
From an international cooperation perspective, Mr. Albin Deforges, Country Representative of Naturland in Vietnam, assessed that partnership between international organizations and domestic entities is injecting fresh momentum into the organic sector's growth. Over the past five years, Naturland has collaborated with VOAA to implement numerous training programs, assisting farmers in converting to organic farming methods according to international standards. In parallel, market linkage activities have brought European organic products closer to Vietnamese consumers through the Farmers Market chain, while opening new avenues for Vietnamese organic produce to strengthen its competitiveness.

Organic Foods Festival 2026 is not merely a trade promotion event; it also reflects the development trajectory of the organic food industry in this new era. As product quality is verified by clear standards, consumer trust is fostered through transparency, and value chain links become ever tighter, organic agriculture will have a firmer foundation for sustainable growth, delivering long-term benefits to farmers, businesses, and the wider community./.
