In the joyful atmosphere of early spring, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Vang Commune (Da Nang City), in coordination with the Tuy Loan Safe Vegetable Production and Consumption Service Cooperative, solemnly organized the opening ceremony of the 4th Vegetable Festival and the 2026 Agricultural Fair.

The "Hoa Vang Green" mark – determination for digital transformation in agriculture
The most distinct feature and notable highlight of this year's festival is the strong intersection between traditional values and modern technology. The festival brought together 15 booths from villages across Hoa Vang Commune, along with 1 exchange booth from a neighboring commune, creating a rich and diverse exhibition space.
The key products at the festival featured Tuy Loan safe vegetables, OCOP products, and seasonal agricultural produce. The highlight and focal point of the event was the launch of the "Hoa Vang Green" digital ecosystem, along with typical activities: the worship ceremony of the God of Agriculture (Shennong), a traditional shoulder-pole parade, and agricultural production contests...

Here, visitors could easily find clean agricultural products meeting high quality standards, OCOP (One Commune One Product) items, and local specialties. From lush green vegetable bundles of the Tuy Loan region and seasonal tubers and fruits to traditional processed goods rich in local flavor, all were attractively displayed, showcasing the skillful hands and dedication of local farmers.
Notably, the Organizing Committee proactively applied digital transformation to trade promotion activities. Right at the stalls, vibrant livestream sales sessions took place across social media platforms, helping Hoa Vang's agricultural products transcend geographical boundaries and directly reach consumers nationwide.
The most prominent highlight was the official launch of the “Hoa Vang Green” digital ecosystem. This is a strategic move to complete the supply-demand connection chain, helping farmers manage production more effectively while allowing consumers to transparently trace product origins. This ecosystem is expected to serve as a springboard to elevate the Hoa Vang vegetable brand on Vietnam's agricultural map, heading toward transparent, responsible, and sustainable agriculture.

Following three successful editions, the 2026 Hoa Vang Vegetable Festival continues to affirm its position as a key cultural and economic event. It serves as an occasion to honor the traditional vegetable farming craft, promote distinctive agricultural values, and open up breakthrough opportunities for local agriculture in the Industry 4.0 era.
Preserving rural heritage alongside aspirations for rural tourism development
Beyond economic and technological milestones, the 4th Vegetable Festival was also a unique cultural space where heritage values were awakened and celebrated. Immediately following the opening drum performance, traditional rituals such as the Shennong Offering Ceremony and the new year planting ceremony were solemnly conducted, expressing the people's gratitude to Mother Earth and praying for favorable weather and an abundant harvest.
The vibrant procession carrying shoulder-poles filled with fresh vegetables, accompanied by the bright smiles of local women in traditional attire, painted a warm and friendly portrait of Hoa Vang's rural life. Contests in agricultural production, processing, and marketing served not only as a platform for farmers to exchange experience and learn, but also as a way to demonstrate increasingly progressive and professional farming techniques.
“The festival not only holds economic significance but also serves as an important bridge for community cohesion, especially as the locality is steadily stabilizing and achieving comprehensive development following administrative restructuring. From an initiative-driven activity, the Tuy Loan Vegetable Festival has now gradually affirmed its role as a distinctive cultural and agricultural gathering point, contributing to elevating the brand of Hoa Vang's clean agricultural products,” shared Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Huong – Standing Vice Chairwoman of Hoa Vang Commune People's Committee.

The traditional culinary area featuring rustic dishes prepared directly from locally harvested vegetables also attracted many visitors. Combining market visits, folk games, and culinary tasting has opened up a new direction for Hoa Vang: developing agriculture in tandem with experiential tourism.
With thoughtful preparation and professional organization, the festival conveyed a powerful message about a dynamically transforming Hoa Vang. Local agriculture is no longer limited to supplying clean food, but is also striving for added value through green tourism and services. This provides a crucial foundation for raising local incomes, building a sustainable exemplary new countryside, and propelling the Hoa Vang agricultural brand toward increasingly rigorous standards in the future./.
